Avatar...left wing propaganda to the maximum

I went to see Avatar. Wow! What a crock. The liberal, America hating propaganda was as thick as you could spread it. If it was not for the money I spent and the really cool effects, I would of walked out. Oh yeah, I got em...they had a bin to throw the glasses in, to recycle them, when you walked out. Forget that! I kept em. Gonna burn em to make some wicked carbon. I recommend you take some noise canceling head phones and listen to some cows passing gas if you go. The visual effects are really good, especially when they fly the bird monster things. If they had the "RIGHT" story line it would of been a great movie.
<---- Good guys (they make them out to be bad guys, suppose to be the the US)

<------Bad Guys (Liberal, US hating traitors, the girl in the back is a big time traitor, she gets toasted)

<----Bad guys ( suppose to be the taliban, I guess.. they kill and eat meat which is kinda cool) M

  1. I saw the film yesterday (Sunday) myself, in Warsaw, Poland, of all places. I had read that in the U.S., many people had walked out when the major battle started. I am not certain what the implication is supposed to be, but I assume it supposedly is because the scenes are "too much" for the typical viewer? In Warsaw, the audience was silent and attentive throughout. No laughing, no loud voices talking, no booing -- no anything other than a polite crowd.

As for your main point, even if I had not been in the Marine Corps, I still would find its portrayal objectionable in this movie. To present members of the Corps as robotic, blood-lusting killers looking for any excuse to shoot anything that moves is far beyond ridiculous. It was obvious that the makers of this motion picture were intent on trying to depict America and its military as the bad guys.

I judge the quality of a film by deciding whether or not I would like to see it again, much the same as deciding if a book is worth reading a second time. No way would I watch "Avatar" again.

  2. I really like the 3d thing. I hope they make some good movies with that. The over the top America hating theme makes me sick. These Hollywood types are so typical. They make un-real amounts of money for reading lines and making destructive movies. Talk about overpaid. This is where the 90% tax bracket should start. You wanna bet they change their toon real quick.

  3. The US in the movie has moved to another place and started to take over and take advantage of another culture and group of people. Im not sure how one could look at the characters of the movie and see the US as the good guys when they were willing to kill thousands to make a monetary gain. In the movie those native people were there long before americans and had every right to their land. Not sure what you are thinking that this movie is straight up "liberal america hating propaganda." Are you willing to go and kill millions to make some money? if that is the case then you need to do some self evaluating.

  4. Anonymous, You are truly insane. To not see the obvious satire in my comments makes you a absoulute idiot. You are a hopeless lost soul. (but then God is a dirty word to the likes of you) I am guessing you would of had the trees kill everyone and rule the Universe. The only thing I ask, if you want to live in a socialist society, go find one. There are many to choose from. Just leave us alone. It will happen anyway, maybe you should get your tickets before the 2010 election as your mindless words will be moot after that. M

To the "anonymous" commenter; liberal ideology in the college environment today teaches that our nations army should stay within our own country. You would agree with that statement right? It sounds right on the surface, but this is the fundamental disagreement with you and me (liberals and conservatives)

You paint a picture that sounds right on the outside by staying that Americans shouldn't intrude into other nations to kill, or take what they have by force. Obviously, what rational American would object to that? Anyone with a conscious would agree to that. But that doesn't mean there is never a time to bring our army into a nother land.

I recommend you spend time reading books on the hollocaust. Your heart will be overwhelmed with sorrow, and then anger that these poor people in those slaughter houses were left there by neighboring countries, who did nothing. Switzerland "boasted" about the fact that they remained neutral during this war. I ask you - is remaining neutral to this atrocity something to brag about? Anyone can remain neutral - only people with heartless, selfish souls who care nothing for the oppressed people around the world.

Yes getting involved is tough; it does usually mean that men and women will sacrifice their lives to fight for these people's freedoms; it does mean that many of our good heroic American Soldiers would die by agreing to go fight for these helpless Jews to save them from the Nazi's in WWII saved thousands upon thousands of lives. But it is worth. A nation, as blessed as ours, that sits on it's thumbs, and does nothing to help where there is opression, and torture happening around the world, is a corwardly, heartless, and without soul.

America however, proved it's great honor by BEING involved and fighting for people to be free around the globe.

I stand with this country today, as they proved their honor once again, in this last decade as we saved the lives of millions from the opresssion and torture of Sadamm on the Iraqi people.
